Hi there, Rowena,
I get it! I'm always anxious to return to the Disneyland Resort sooner than later too. Let's go over how this might be possible for you.
Each Guest of the Disneyland Resort must have both valid theme park admission and a
theme park reservation to enter a theme park. It sounds like you already have both. But the theme park admission is only good for the day it was booked. So to visit on another date with the same theme park ticket, you would need to cancel your existing park reservation and book a new reservation with the same ticket you already have.
To cancel and book a new theme park reservation, you will need to visit the "
My Theme Park Reservations" page of the Disneyland Resort website. After you log in using the same account used to book your currently-scheduled visit, find the reservation and click "Cancel Reservation." After you confirm the ticket or tickets you wish to remove from the reservation, you can complete the cancellation and return to "
My Theme Park Reservations" to book a new date.
To book a new theme park reservation, your ticket must still be valid for the new date you wish to visit. For one-day tickets, that means that the new date must be the same or lower
ticket tier as the ticket being used. And the ticket must not have been used up or
expired. There must also be
available reservations for your ticket type on the new date.
If you purchased the
Disney Genie+ service at the time of your original ticket purchase, that entitlement will remain attached to your ticket. A
theme park parking voucher is a separate eTicket, independent of your theme park ticket and park reservation. You do not need to reserve parking. Your parking voucher is valid for any day within 24 months of the date of purchase.
Tony's Tip: If you find that theme park reservations are not
available for the date you wish to visit, I would encourage you to keep checking. Other Guests may also need to change their plans. So it is possible that reservations open up. People tend to make these decisions right up to the last minute. So I would suggest checking up to the evening before or even the morning of your intended visit. Also, if you will be staying at one of the three
Disneyland Resort Hotels, you will want to ensure your hotel reservation is linked to your Disneyland account and book your park reservation from your
hotel reservation page. That will open up access to
theme park reservations exclusively for hotel Guests.
I'm excited that you will be visiting The Happiest Place on Earth soon, Rowena. With the
Disney100 Celebration now in full swing, you are sure to experience a lot of magic. Guests enjoying a visit to the Disneyland Resort in February may also wish to
Celebrate Soulfully.
Have a magical time!
~Tony
