Welcome, Joanna. It's so nice that you leapt here to planDisney to get this question answered. We always jump for joy when helping Guests plan their next best adventure!
Our friends from the United Kingdom who want to purchase tickets to
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party can typically do so by calling the
Special Events line. If you're staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel, you can leap toward a magical Halloween-themed night right now because these Guests were eligible to start purchasing them on May 5, 2026. All other Guests can purchase them starting May 12, 2026.
Unlike Leap Day, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party thankfully comes around every year! And as my friend Roberta would say, that’s something worth leaping for. Speaking of leaps, Tigger typically meets in his pirate costume with his Hundred Acre Woods pals. And while only Winnie the Pooh, as a bumblebee, has been confirmed to make an appearance so far, there will be a bunch of specialty character sightings at the party that are sure to make you jump for joy! My favorites are the royal couples you might spot, like Ariel and Eric, and Aladdin and Jasmine. Be sure to stay tuned to the
Disney Parks Blog for all the announcements and guides leading up to this festive event.
Now, I have been to this party twice, and I took two different approaches. The first time I went, it was rides, rides, and more rides. Once those nighttime wait times dropped, I found myself bouncing from attraction to attraction all evening long. Did I trick-or-treat? Sure. Did I catch some entertainment? You bet. But the rides were the priority. The next time, I concentrated more on that specialty, one-of-a-kind entertainment. I met some royal couples, sampled some treats, savored the
nighttime spectacular, enjoyed the stage shows, and danced along to the parade. As you get closer and closer to the event, sit down with your travel party and pick out your priorities. Will it be springing toward the attractions? Bounding for the specialty entertainment? Or pouncing on a little bit of both?
Joanna, I hope this helped your Halloween plans get off to a hopping start!
I'm here if you have any other questions.
TTFN and happy haunting,
Matt
