Our children were in awe as each princess gave them individual attention in that royal reception. This complimentary character experience was one example among many that have made sailing on the Disney Cruise Line ships one of our favorite ways to vacation.On most ships in the Disney Cruise Line fleet, reservations for the Royal Gathering may be made online starting 30 days before sailing. However, on the Disney Adventure, Guests may only make reservations for this complimentary activity using the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App after boarding the ship. This event is very popular. So I recommend making your reservation as soon as you can after you board the Adventure.For additional royal fun with Disney Princesses, you may also be interested in booking the Royal Society for Friendship and Tea. This unique dining event may be booked in My Reservations after your activity booking window opens. The per-Guest price for this activity, which is charged to your onboard account, will be shown during the reservation process. Even after more than a dozen years, my daughter still talks about a similar experience she had aboard the Disney Wonder.
