    I made a reservation at the contemporary. check in isnt until 3, but we have a lunch reservation at 12 and a makeover for my 3 year old at 3. how do we get our magic bands(do they count as tickets?)? can we drop our luggage off at the resort before 3?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so happy to answer your great question today!

    You will absolutely love Disney’s Contemporary Resort! My family loves the proximity to Magic Kingdom Park, the unique design and the awesome Restaurant options located within the Resort hotel.

    You will be happy to know that although the Resort hotel cannot guarantee room availability prior to 3 p.m., you will be able to check-in, receive your MagicBands and leave your luggage with Bell Services as soon as you arrive. Early check-in is normally available as early as 6:00 a.m.

    If you have already purchased your Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets and linked them to your Disney account, they will automatically be associated to your MagicBand and you will be able to use them to enter the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks.
