    I made a reservation at California Grill to view the fireworks at MK. It's on a night they are having a Christmas party so I think the fireworks are at 9:30. Our reservation is 7:40. Will we be able to stay and watch the fireworks on the observation deck?

    Hi Nancy!

          My son and I love California Grill at the Contemporary Resort! Dinner at California Grill can take between 1 to 2 hours or more, so you could feasibly finish dinner between 9:00 pm to 9:30 pm.  So it looks like you will be finishing your dinner just in time for an amazing fireworks spectacular. If you are dining at the California Grill on a Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party night in the Magic Kingdom, then you are in for an extra special treat of "Holiday Wishes-Celebrate the Spirit of the Season" Fireworks Spectacular!  If you are dining at the California Grill for dinner and you complete your meal before Wishes is scheduled to begin, you can go back up to watch Wishes with your dinner receipt for that evening. Just show your dinner receipt to the cast member who is running the special California Grill elevator and they will let you ride up to watch Wishes on the roof of the Contemporary Resort. 

    I hope that your California Grill dinner is truly magical!
