Bright suns, Emily! Welcome to planDisney.
It's not long now until your voyage to a galaxy far, far away. Having traveled to the Black Spire Outpost a couple of times this past year, I know that you'll have a fantastic time. Just don't let anyone from the First Order know why you're there. Play it cool. Try to fit in with the crowd.
A handbuilt lightsaber from
Savi's Workshop is the first step to becoming a Jedi. I like how you've made an early appointment too. There are fewer Stormtroopers patroling Batuu at this time and so you should be safe (but I make no promises). If you have a reservation before Disney's Hollywood Studios opens, then let me put you at ease. The ambassador of Batuu has struck an agreement with the folks at Disney to allow people like yourself early access.
Even though you're staying off property, you'll be fine. Parking lots open 45-60 minutes before each Theme Park's official opening time. This will give you plenty of time to park your spaceship and make your way to the Theme Park entrance. Once you arrive at the park entrance, look specifically for a Cast Member who'll be talking through a headset microphone. They're usually directing Guests who have pre-opening reservations. If you're ever in doubt, just ask one of the many Cast Members and they'll be able to direct you to the specific entrance. It won't be long before you find yourself in
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.
Once your mission is complete and you have your fancy new lightsaber, it'll be safe for you to ride
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. If you ever feel the Force weakening, I heartily recommend the galactic grub at
Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo.
Till the Spires, Emily!
Mike
