Hi Fay! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney.
Congratulations on your
Blue Bayou Restaurant reservation in New Orleans Square at Disneyland Park. It's such an iconic choice and can be tricky to secure because it's so popular, especially during the
Holidays at the Disneyland Resort. My family loves it too, and it's the perfect choice for a celebratory meal. There's nothing quite like the immersive experience of dining in perpetual twilight while the boats drift by. I understand if in your excitement to grab the reservation, you forgot to add your
Mickey Celebration Cake.
You have a couple of options. You can add the cake to your reservation at the restaurant podium or at the Concierge Desk at your
Disneyland Resort Hotel. If you're adding the cake the day of your reservation, you'll have to make the addition at the podium at the time of your arrival. Do be aware that there are a limited amount of day-of cakes available, so it is possible for them to sell out.
If for some reason you're not able to secure your cake, Blue Bayou Restaurant has some great dessert choices, including a seasonal option, and the Disneyland Resort is celebrating the holidays with lots of treats, so you're bound to find the perfect sugary delight somewhere. Check out the Disney Eats
Foodie Guide for all the details. It's the official source for all the festive food and beverages available in the parks!
Since a member of your group will be celebrating a birthday, be sure to drop by City Hall on Main Street, U.S.A. in Disneyland Park or Guest Services in Disney California Adventure Park to pick up a
Complimentary Birthday Button. When you wear your button, everyone will know you're celebrating, and you never know what magic will happen!
Have a magical day.
Elizabeth
