Hi, I've made reservation of Art of Animation Dec. 19--Dec.22(my daugher's favorite), and intend to stay in Pop Century Resort Dec. 22--Jan. 2, please advise how to book my reservation to take the best adventage? Tks.

    Hi, Chung!

Wow, it sounds like you have a nice long vacation planned!  Two weeks in Walt Disney World sounds fantastic.

You are going to have to book 2 separate reservations.  The tricky part becomes "what is the best deal?"

If you are going WITHOUT a dining plan, your most economical way to go will be the following:

-Reservation #1:  Book "room only" at Art of Animation and purchase a 10 park ticket.   This park ticket will be good for 14 days from its first use.  If you plan to park hop to go to water parks, add on the options.  (With being in WDW so long, I suggest the Water Park option for your "days off" from the parks.)
-Reservation #2:  Book "room only" at Pop Century.  You will already have your tickets from the first leg of your journey.

It gets a bit more tricky if you book WITH the dining plan.  If you add this on, you need to purchase tickets with your package.   In this case:

-Reservation #1:  Book package at AoA with dining and 10 days of park tickets (your dining credits expire at midnight the day you check out of AoA.  Your new credits will start with Reservation #2.  Your park tickets are valid for 14 days from their first use.)
-Reservation #2:  Book package at Pop Century with Dining Plan and 1 day of park tickets (and use up days of tickets from Reservation #1.)

This is the best way I found, but you can call a Disney Reservationist to see what they can come up with. This plan will give you 10 days of park fun, plus by adding the Water Park option, you can enjoy extras like mini-golf and DisneyQuest.   I hope this helped and did not confuse you even more!  Let me know if you need clarification!  Good luck.

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
