Hi Danielle,
Welcome back to planDisney and thank you for asking me another great question. It’s lovely to see you again!
I’m excited to hear that you were able to reserve an extra room in a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel for your upcoming vacation. Either you were able to add on extra nights to your holiday OR other people are going to be visiting Walt Disney World Resort with you… but, no matter what, that means extra Magic for everyone!
If I understand your question correctly, you were able to pay a $200 deposit to secure this room-only reservation. Based on my experience, the smaller deposit shouldn’t have an impact on your ability to take advantage of a
Special Offer or other promotion, if it’s available for your upcoming visit. If a promotion does come out, I would recommend that you make that reservation and cancel your existing one – that’s usually been the simplest way for me to substitute one “room only” reservation for another. That said, if the reservation you made has a special cancellation policy, then you might want to contact
Walt Disney World Resort by phone or by
email in order to make sure that you’ll be able to get your deposit back if you need to cancel your stay.
Speaking of Special Offers, the new
Theme Park Ticket deal that was just released for Canadians is pretty sweet! After all, who doesn’t love a promotion that allows you to basically get an extra day in the Theme Parks for free?
As always, please don’t hesitate to come back and see me if you have any other questions. I’m always happy to help you, when I can.
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
