    Hi :) You have made reference to special disney watches (the Tinkerbell one that Jason made for you). I am bringing my son to WDW from Australia for 10 days for his 6th birthday in June. How long do these watches take to make and where do we go for them?

    Hi Tracy,

    I have had so many people comment on my daughter's Tinkerbell watch that Jason Z. (Disney artist) made for her during our trip a few years ago. Jason's work was a little more custom made than what we were used to seeing around WDW and we liked his style, his art was truly "one of a kind pieces" we thought.  We left it in his hands to create something that he felt my daughter would like and it was amazingly perfect. I am sure he added some "Extra Magic" to hers. They are not cheap, but very good quality and well worth the memories we will always have when looking at it (we decided to have it framed because it was so special).

    There are a few locations within WDW where these Disney artists sit and create their magical masterpieces.  Jason was in a store called Sunset Club Couture on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood Studios.  Other locations I have noticed are:  The Main Street Cinema on Main Street U.S.A. and at The Art of Disney Store located in Downtown Disney (Marketplace location).  There are others, but basically, the stores that offer this are also the stores that would feature Art of Disney Lithographs, collectibles, etc.. If you can find these locations, more than likely you will find these artists.  The Art of Disney Stores are also located at Epcot's Future World and in Animal Kingdom (although I don't remember seeing the watches made there, but they very well may be available).

    I do recall Jason mentioning that he could have it shipped to us, but said he may have time to make it within a few days (I don't think that is typical, he was just really nice to try for us).  I am not sure how that would work for Australia, but you could ask when you get there.  They do have some watches already made with and without framing if you wanted one on the spot, but it wouldn't be customized to you personally.  I hope you find what you are looking for.
