Hi! I made all the plans for a trip and I just now added my brother to the plans, he has his own magic band and linked his card. If he uses his band to pay for something, will his card or mine be charged since it was the original payment method?

    Hi Taylor! Welcome to planDisney!

Your upcoming visit to the Walt Disney World Resort is almost here! In less than a week you'll be making lots of memories with your family and enjoying all that the theme parks have to offer. I'm thrilled for you!

It sounds like you have done an excellent job of planning your vacation! When it comes to making purchases with your MagicBands, they are linked to your Disney Resorts Collection hotel account. Whatever credit card that is linked to your Disney Resort hotel account is the one that ultimately receives the charges because credit cards cannot be linked directly to MagicBands. If your credit card is currently linked to the hotel account, your card will be the one charged.

There is a way that you each can have a different card associated with your MagicBands for your stay, though! Just visit the Front Desk when you arrive and let the Cast Member know that you would like each MagicBand to have a different credit card on file. They can set up your hotel account so your brother's MagicBand will charge to his credit card while your MagicBand charges to your card. Isn't that great?!

I hope this helps, Taylor! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
