Hi Cassie, welcome to planDisney!
Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is officially in the 10-day forecast - Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah! There's plenty of sunshine heading your way next week, so make sure to pack sunscreen and stay hydrated. There will likely be brief showers each day, so I recommend a poncho for your park bag. My panelist pal
Ashley also recommends a pair of dry socks to prevent soggy feet.
Nice work securing theme park reservations before your visit. I understand you'd like to switch your park days, which should not be a problem. The
theme park reservation availability calendar currently shows all parks as available for August 15 and 16, so here are the steps to modify your existing theme park reservations to match your new plan:
1. Log in to your My Disney Experience account to view your
current theme park reservations.
2. Click "Modify Reservation" underneath the confirmation number for one of your existing theme park reservations.
3. Select your name and click "Continue."
4. Select the same date as your initial reservation, "Select" next to the desired park, and "Continue." The park for which you currently have a theme park reservation will appear grayed out.
5. After reviewing your changes, click "Confirm Selections."
6. Repeat steps 1-5 to modify the second theme park reservation.
I hope this information helps make everything "satisfactch'll" for your trip, Cassie. Be sure to consult the
Hours & Events Calendar for nighttime spectacular showtimes. Happily Ever After at Magic Kingdom Park (my personal favorite) is full of emotion and Fantasmic! at Disney's Hollywood Studios (my kids' favorite) is action-packed.
Choose magic,
Jennifer
