Welcome back to planDisney, Brittany! I'm so glad you're here!
Your visit to the
Merriest Place on Earth is just around the corner - how exciting! I visited just last week and was so excited to see all of the festive decor ready to go for the Holidays. Be sure to check out the
Disney Parks Blog Foodie Guide to the Holidays and the
Festival of the Holidays Foodie Guide. I am still dreaming of the Sticky Toffee Pudding macaron. It was amazing!
Back to your question, Brittany. Unfortunately, hotel guests must have a
theme park reservation for the park with
Early Entry on a given day to utilize that perk. Otherwise, Guests with park hopper tickets will need to wait until 11:00 AM to enter the park. You are more than welcome to modify your theme park reservation so you start at Disneyland and enjoy early entry on Thanksgiving.
To modify your
park reservation, head to the Disneyland website and find the "My Disneyland" tab at the top right of the home screen. Click on
"My Plans" in the drop-down menu and find the ticket you would like to modify. Click on the blue "Manage Reservation" button, and it'll take you to a list of all theme park reservations linked to your MyDisney account. Click on "Modify Reservation" next to the reservation you want to modify and follow the instructions on the following pages to switch your park reservation. I hope this helps!
Brittany, when I rope drop
Disneyland Park, I usually start in Tomorrowland and ride Space Mountain and Star Tours. I find that this technique almost always allows me to do most of the rides in Tomorrowland in a short time. For all other must-do rides, I like to utilize
Lightning Lane Multi Pass - making sure to book my first return time as soon as I scan my ticket for entry. Don't forget to build in time to visit Mickey and friends throughout the park. At Fantasyland Theatre,
Holiday Fun with Santa & Friends is a great way to see a lot of characters in their cozy winter outfits!
I am wishing you the very best visit, Brittany. Please let us know if you have any other questions!
See ya real soon,
Melissa
