    Made a pact w/the devil! For grandchildren to go to Disney, I have to go hunting! Any suggestions for a son-in-law who hates Disney and doesn't want to be there? I want my grand kids to go so badly! Just want it so they might be able to go again!

    Hi Jean!

         You are one dedicated grandma!  As a gal from South Louisiana, I have family totally into the whole hunting, fishing, "manly man" activities.  Don't worry, we will have your son-in-law so excited to go to Disney World that he may even offer to plan the next trip!  First, I suggest staying in the moderate resort, Port Orleans Riverside, in the Alligator Bayou section.  The decor is rustic, but still very "Disney."  At this resort, he can participate in some catch and release fishing fun at the Fishin' Hole in front of the food court area.  If he is an early riser, he can actually go fishing with a guide at 6:00 AM and have everything that he needs to reel in the big one, provided for him.  The cost for this excursion is $75.75 plus tax for one person, or $185 plus tax for up to five people.  This boat actually leaves from the resort and can be booked by calling 1-407-934-5409.  LOTS of scurrying rabbits, squirrels and ducks can also be found here, but alas, he cannot shoot them!  The arcade at Port Orleans is also one of the largest on Disney property and Downtown Disney is only a short boat ride away.

         If you send another e-mail directed to me and let me know what his interests are, I'll see what we can come up with to keep him entertained.  Until then, just have your grandkids give him their best puppy-dog eyes and say "Pleeeaaase Daddy!"  Oh and Jean, be sure to have fun on that hunting trip - ha-ha!!!
