    We made the opening ceremonies at the Magic Kingdom 3 times and loved it. How do they pick the family that rides in on the train with the characters? Just wondering if you have to do something special.

    Hi Deborah!  Oh I so wish I knew what I needed to do to have my own family picked for this great event!

    The best advice I can give you is to show up early and be at the front for the rope drop.  The selection is done completely at random but I guess my suggestion would be to make sure the kids are awake, alert, and not fighting or arguing!  When it is early in the morning those three things are hard to do all together for most children!

    Wish upon a star the night before and hope some of the Disney magic comes your way!
