    now that there is made with magic ears 3.0 that change color with fireworks, does the older version still work

    I’m excited to hear that you are enhancing the magic of your Disney Parks visit with the Made with Magic Ear Hat.  Made with Magic events offer such a fun opportunity to interact even more with the Disney magic surrounding you.   My family and I love watching the park entertainment offerings like Fantasmic! at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Happily Ever After fireworks show at Magic Kingdom park, Once Upon A Time at Magic Kingdom park, and Rivers of Light at Disney’s Animal Kingdom park. Made with Magic Ear Hats connect you more closely to the fun.
     
    I’m happy to share that earlier versions of the Ear Hat will continue to work in the parks. The Made with Magic 3.0 Connected Ear Hat features Bluetooth to connect your Ear Hat to the Shop Disney Parks app.  While earlier versions of the Ear Hat are not Bluetooth enabled and therefore will not interact with the app, they will function in the parks.
