I made light saber reservations for 3 but 1 may not make the saber after all. My question is will I be charged for that person that isn’t making the light saber? Can I tell them at the saber place we have 2 not 3 and not be charged?

    Bright suns, Jeanette!

Your experience at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is going to be out of this world! Watching my son build his very own custom lightsaber at Savi's Workshop – Handbuilt Lightsabers was the highlight of our family’s first visit to Black Spire Outpost. I’m sure your party will have an amazing time with the Gatherers of Savi’s Workshop.

The Gatherers wish to make the lightsaber building experience available to as many guests as possible. However, inside Savi’s Workshop, builders work at a fixed number of workstations. So it’s important to know ahead of time how many builders have reservations. If one of your builders may not be available to join the experience, you will want to cancel the reservation for that builder to avoid the per-builder no-show fee. Cancellations should be made at least one day prior to your reservation. You may call (714) 300-7805 to cancel or for more information.

Note that each builder may bring up to two guests with them to Savi’s Workshop. If a member of your party is unsure whether they will be building during your visit, I would recommend that person plans on attending as a guest rather than a builder. They will at least be able to witness the amazing experience with the Gatherers. Then, if that person decides they would like a lightsaber of their own after all, there are a few possible options to consider. First, you may check with the Gatherers to see if any open reservations are available later in the day at Savi’s Workshop. Or (and you’ll want to do this anyway!) you can visit Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities. Dok-Ondar has a collection of legacy lightsabers that may be of interest as well. While not custom-built, these lightsabers associated with some of the most famous Jedi Knights and Sith Lords of the galaxy make great additions to the collection of any Star Wars fan. Dok-Ondar also has different kyber crystals available that can be placed into custom lightsabers from Savi’s Workshop to change their colors. These kyber crystals also work in the mysterious holocrons available for sale at Dok-Ondar's establishment.

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jeanette. May the Force with you during your visit to a galaxy far, far away!
