I made hotel reservations for october, and can't seem to make park reservations....

Hello there, Erin! Welcome to planDisney. We are thrilled to have you stop by to drop us a question about your upcoming visit to Disneyland Resort.

October is a fabulous time to visit the parks and one of my favorite times of the year, especially for the weather! The reason that you have not been able to make theme park ticket reservations is that currently theme park ticket reservations can be made up to 120 days in advance. This means you still have a few months to go before October 2023 dates open up. I suggest bookmarking the Theme Park Ticket Availability Calendar to check back to see when all of the dates you are visiting have opened up so you can then easily make reservations for all days at once.

Once you've settled your dates, check in to the Disney Parks Blog to see when they announce the Halloween time information. One of my favorite things about Halloween time at Disneyland is the food! I always look forward to the Foodie Guide. The special ticketed event, Oogie Boogie Bash - A Disney Halloween Celebration is always a big hit and we usually know in the spring if it's making its return. If this is something you are interested in, be sure to stay in the know and be ready when tickets go on sale. These go fast! I attended my first Oogie Boogie Bash this year and I had so much fun seeing all the characters in the treat trails and zipping onto attractions with low wait times.

Erin, thanks again for stopping by. Please come back and see us again with your questions as you continue to plan your visit.

Meet the Panelist: Carrie, California

Well hello there, friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mom and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. You'll find my family in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can. While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
