Thanks for stopping by planDisney! Kristy I love this location you picked to stay at, and have stayed there myself in the past. I can't wait to share what I learned while staying there.
Whether you picked the
Walt Disney World Swan or
Dolphin it was one of the nicest places I have stayed in a long time. When you first enter you will notice a wonderful aroma, this is such a welcoming touch as soon as you arrive. The concierge will take your bags if you arrive ahead of check-in time. If you don't have park tickets for that first day might I recommend a stroll down
Disney's BoardWalk. This area is not too far from your hotel and has some food options, and at night plenty of entertainment. There are restaurants, the
Atlantic Dance Hall, and a dueling piano bar in
Jellyrolls. Live performers on the actual boardwalk itself at night, this area provides you with plenty to do the day you arrive. You can also catch two different types of transportation from the area as well. Friendship boats and
Disney's Skyliner will transport you to multiple destinations from the boat launches at each of the nearby resorts, and near the International Gateway entrance to
EPCOT. This is also where you will find the Skyliner if you are interested in this gondola system that has multiple stops.
The My Disney Experience App is the best tool for planning your visit. Seeing that stay in your app gives you something to look forward to, and I'm glad you were able to add it to your reservations. When it comes to booking through the third party websites any transactions would continue through them as they may have booked your stay with special offers and pricing in mind. Any changes to those reservations would also be handled through the third party you made your payments and initial reservations with. The good news is you will still be able to enjoy all the benefits this hotel brings. One of my favorites to mention is
Early Park Entry and especially the
Extended Evening Hours as these are reserved for guests staying at a deluxe resort. The Extended Evening Hours will be certain parks each day, and many attractions have little to no wait as it is 2 hours after regular park closing. Your days at EPCOT and
Hollywood Studios will be very easy going as they as very accessible to your room. You are so close you can walk to Hollywood Studios in about 25 minutes and EPCOT in about 15.
I hope this information helps you get those final payments taken care of for your stay. If you have any other planning questions be sure to visit us again at

Have a magical stay,
Jeremy A.
