Hi Amanda!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Just thinking about dining at Walt Disney World Resort makes me hungry! With so many delicious dining options, it is hard to choose only a few. That's why the Disney
Dining Plan is the most magical way to eat your way around the Walt Disney World Resort.
One of the reasons that I love participating in one of the Dining Plans is because of the flexibility. My family typically purchases the
Disney Dining Plan which includes 1 Quick-Service Meal, 1 Table-Service Meal, and 2 Snacks or Non-Alcoholic Drinks. Since my kids enjoy breakfast most, we make sure to plan plenty of Character breakfast dining experiences. We then use a Quick-Service meal option for dinner. I also love that there are now new beverage options. For Guests 21 and older, beer, wine, and cocktails are also on the menu! If you are like me, it is so wonderful to be able to enjoy a nice glass of wine with dinner.
I've got great news for you. You can add on any of the Dining Plans up until 24 hours before your vacation. You will get to choose the dining plan that best fits your family's needs. Don't forget; you can also use Mobile Ordering to place an order on the go with your My Disney Experience app at participating Quick-Service locations.
Even if you don't add on any of the Dining Plans at the time of your booking, you can still take advantage of making advance dining reservations starting at 180 days prior to check-in! I highly recommend making dining reservations and having peace of mind knowing that you will get to experience your must-do dining locations. Advanced dining plans can be made online for participating restaurants. Some of my favorite dining locations include
'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort,
California Grill at Disney's Contemporary Resort,
Garden Grill Restaurant for breakfast at Epcot, and
Tusker House Restaurant at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park.
I hope that you and your family enjoy dining around Walt Disney World as much as I do.
