I made some homemade Disney shirts for surprising outr kids for there first trip to Disney I know it was posted in the past that it is ok to make homemade shirts, but I wanted to make sure that hasn’t changed. I don’t want to get in trouble.

    Hi there, Kimberly!

Welcome to planDisney, I'm so happy to meet you! I love that you're planning some fun wardrobe options for your visit to the Disneyland Resort. Whether your family has literal superpowers like my favorite little buddy Jack-Jack (try his cookies!) or you're just super fun, I know you'll all look as fabulous as the Incredibles!

As long as your super suits and general wardrobe follow the Disneyland Guest Courtesy and Attire Policies then you are more than welcome to channel your inner Edna Mode and create shirts for your heroic kids! Just remember...no capes! Just kidding. Children under 14 are welcome to wear costumes, so even a super cape is usually ok at the Disneyland Resort. Don't worry, I'll explain the safety protocols at the parks to Edna if she asks.

I hope you'll take some time to explore Mickey's Toontown, there are so many fun new places to explore. Make sure you visit Mickey's House so that you can take a family photo with my favorite pal! You should also visit Guest Services to request a complimentary "First Visit" button to remember your trip.

Kimberly, I'm so excited for you to surprise your kiddos with this magical adventure! If you have more questions as you prepare for your park visit you are welcome to send me a note here and I'll get back to you faster than Dash can say "3...2...1...go!" on the Incredicoaster!

    Keep moving forward!
