    We have made very early reservations for the Caribbean Beach resort for Oct. 2017. We were told that the rooms may be reduced in price before our stay but that we have to be on the lookout on our own. When is a typical time to check on discounts for rooms?

    I like your style! Having a Walt Disney World vacation on the horizon is so much fun. October is a fantastic time to visit and my family has many great memories during this time!

    Typically, release dates for available Special Offers aren't announced too far in advance, but if history is any indication, I would say to start paying attention for fall deals at the end of spring or mid-summer. There is no guarantee that there will be October offers but this strategy has worked well for me in the past.

    I like referring to the historical data on MouseSavers.com to see what has happened in past years and I also recommend keeping an eye on the Special Offers page as well as the Disney Parks Blog for up-to-date information and official announcements.
