    I made DR for the 3 restaurants my family has chosen so far. We have not yet purchased our package but all 8 of us will be getting together next week to do so. Even though I secured our spot w/ my CC, we can use our DDP once it's purchased, right?

    Hi Jordan! 

    Hmmm....now you have me wondering which of the amazing Walt Disney World restaurants you have chosen to enjoy!  In my opinion, they all offer amazing choices and wonderful experiences!

    The answer to your question is yes, you can use your Disney Dining Plan to "pay" for the meals at those restaurants within Walt Disney World for which you have already secured a reservation with your credit card.  You can simply let your server know, as soon as you are seated, that you will be paying for your meal with your Disney Dining Plan.

    If you would like to take the step of contacting Disney Dining once you make your Disney Dining Plan selections, you could give them your current reservation numbers so they can go in and make the notification changes now, on the front end of your trip.  It may cut down on some confusion at the time of your meal, however, it is not a requirement that you do so.
