Welcome to planDisney, Paula! Thanks so much for coming to us with your question today.
I'm sorry to hear you're having some issues with the
Walt Disney World website. Tech issues can be frustrating, but I'm pleased to tell you that this particular issue isn't going to get in the way of making your dining reservations. Adding your guest's
My Disney Experience profiles to your dining reservation is a "nice to have" feature, but it isn't strictly necessary. A
dining reservation is based on the number of people, not necessarily who is listed on the booking, so as long as the lead guest is there to check in, it doesn't matter who is with them! If this issue persists, your reservations are not in jeopardy, you can still bring your entire party along with you and enjoy your meal together.
That said, it is quite nice to link those reservations so they show up in every guest's future plans in My Disney Experience, so I suggest that you continue trying. It doesn't sound to me like you're doing anything wrong, but I'll lay out the process for you just in case you're missing a step. First, log into My Disney Experience and find the reservation you want to modify. Click the link that says "Update Guests" and add your party to the reservation. Click "Done", and that should be it! Hopefully, you'll be able to complete this process before your trip next month, but there's no need to worry if you can't, everyone will still be able to dine together.
Have a magical day, Paula!
