Made dinner reservations to T-Rex Café for our son who is 7. Can you recommend a place to take our daughters (10 & 15)?

    Hi Lisa,

Great choice in selecting a special dining location for your son. If he's into dinosaurs, Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park offers an awesome attraction, DINOSAUR. It's a thrill ride, certainly not a simple ride, but super exciting for a dinosaur enthusiast.

So back to your question! 'Ohana is a family favorite of ours, and I think at your daughters' ages, they'd love the ambience. You'll find this restaurant at Disney's Polynesian Resort, which can be accessed via monorail from the front of Magic Kingdom. It's such a treat for the entire family to enjoy with Polynesian all-you-care-to-eat delicacies during the dinner hours along with relaxing, live Hawaiian entertainment.

If you're seeking recommendations specifically at Downtown Disney, I'd suggest Raglan Road. Again, live entertainment makes this location a popular one. I think your daughters would really enjoy watching the Irish dancers perform and the Irish pub food is top notch.

Let me know if there's a location you're aiming for, otherwise I hope my ideas were helpful, Lisa.

Please do keep in mind Advance Dining Reservations are highly recommended. You can book a reservation online or by calling 407-WDW-DINE, 407-939-3463 as early as 180-days in advance.

Best wishes for a magical visit.
