I have made dining reservations , but not included my infant in the no.of persons. Now I read here that I should have. What do I do now?? Those restaurants are not available for a party of 4 any more. Please suggest.

    Hello Sonal,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for your question. I made the same mistake that you made during our first trip to Walt Disney World Resort when my son was 5 1/2 months old - I didn’t think I needed to include him in our dining reservations

We often travel with friends and family members and it’s happened a couple of times that some people were no longer able to join us for our trip to Walt Disney World Resort. The ability to make any adjustments to your party size is at the discretion of the restaurant’s manager when you check in. I’ve only ever had a problem once where we had to wait an unusually long time for a table due to the change in our party size.

My suggestion to you would be, if you can’t make an alternate reservation with a party size that includes your infant, to show up at your reservation time and explain the situation to the restaurant’s manager. Odds are, because your extra party member is an infant, that they’ll be able to seat you without an issue (especially if your infant is still a baby and can sit in your lap).

I hope my answer helps you plan your upcoming vacation and please don’t hesitate to come back and visit us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
