We made all of our dining reservations at the 180 mark. Now I need to clean some up to lower the number of guests on the reservations. My reservations are overbooked due to the fact we have a huge group how can I easily reduce the number of guests coming

    Hi Stephanie,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Kudos to you for making all of your advanced dining reservations.

If I understand your question correctly, you want to reduce the number of guests on your advanced dining reservations. To do so, you can login to My Disney Experience and modify each reservation. Or, you may call and speak to a cast member in dining at 407-939-1947. Either way may take a little time depending on the number of advanced dining reservations you have, but the process is fairly simple!

When traveling with large groups, we typically have changes to our advanced dining reservations. On a few occasions, we have arrived to the restaurant with fewer people than we had listed on the reservation and the cast members accommodated our party without penalty. I would definitely modify the reservations beforehand if possible, however.

Given how group numbers can shift, just be sure that you are at your final numbers before reducing the number of guests on the reservations. You certainly would not want to reduce it then need to increase it later - it is harder for a restaurant to accommodate additional guests.

I do hope you all are connected through the My Family & Friends List in My Disney Experience and that you plan to use the My Disney Experience Mobile App so that everyone can view the plans for the trip. If you split up in the parks, everyone will need to know what time Fast Pass+ selections and dining reservations are scheduled.

Stephanie, I am sending lots of patience your way as you plan this incredible trip!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
