    Hello -I made dining reservations for my family. I notated that a gluten free option is needed. I also ordered birthday cake for one of our party. However, I do *not* want a gluten free cake. I realize that may not have been clear. How do I confirm this?

    I’m happy to hear that you utilized the dietary restrictions section of the Disneyland Dining Reservation system. Marking the dietary restrictions in your party allows the server to ask additional questions and make specific recommendations based on your party’s needs. It is not a blanket request for that dietary restriction to be applied to the entire party. 

    When making a dining reservation on the Disneyland website or the Disneyland Mobile App the option to add a cake is given. This is a standard cake order. If you were looking for a nut-free, plant-based or gluten-free cake, you would have had to place a special diet cake order by emailing Special.Diets@disneyland.com. This request must be made at least four weeks in advance of your dining reservation. So there’s no need to worry, your cake order will be the standard celebration cake.
