Hi! I just made our dining reservations for end of Aug. and lucky me, I was able to get a lunch reservation for BOG at 11:25 am. Roughly how long can I expect to wait to be seated even with the reservation?

Bonjour, Dawn. Indeed, you are lucky! Be Our Guest is my favorite restaurant in all of The Magic Kingdom. I nearly cried when I experienced dining at the Beast's Enchanted Castle for the first time. Right as you walk in the stunning sights and sounds hit you and it feels as if you just waltzed right into the film.

Your wait time to be seated really depends on a couple of things. When I went a couple of months ago there was a short line leading up to a Cast Member. When it was my turn the Cast Member asked me if I had ordered my meal in advance and I said yes, but that I'd be paying in cash. She directed me to the right, where a short line waited in a hallway lined with suits of armor. This line was for guests who had either not ordered their meals in advance, or hadn't paid for their meal yet, or both. It's a fun little wait because the suits of armor talk to each other and have conversations. If you have ordered in advance and paid for the meal (or have a dining plan) the Cast Member will just scan your Magic Band and you can find a seat immediately. This is how it was set up when I visited, but of course it could be arranged differently now or before your trip in August. I would plan on at least a 10 to 20 minute wait just in case you have a strict time schedule and need a ballpark figure.

Be sure to check out the three themed rooms in the castle before you leave. The Grand Ballroom is so elegant from the mural on the ceiling to the gorgeous chandeliers. The West Wing is dark and mysterious and is the home of the Beast's rose. The last room is the Castle Gallery which showcases a life size dancing figure of Belle and The Beast.

I hope this helps, and if you need anything else Dawn, please be our guest!
