I made all of our dining reservations 180 days before our arrival date. If the free dining promotion is offered that week and I book a new resort reservation to take advantage of the promotion, will my dining reservations transfer over?

    Hey, Kelly!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You were brilliant to make those reservations at the 180-day mark and have a fantastic question because many Guests are confused over this process. Fortunately, Disney Dining Plans and advance dining reservations are separate.

Your advance dining reservations will remain even if you book a new Disney Parks hotel reservation with the free dining plan promotion.

When you get to the restaurant, your server will ask you if you will be using a Disney Dining Plan. You will let them know that you are and they will describe what food is included in your specific plan. The dining plans do not cover gratuity so please leave cash or use a credit card if you want to leave a tip.

Disney Dad Tip: Keep watching the special offers page for future promotions including free dining promotions.

Please let us know if you have any other questions to help make your August visit special.

Kelly, enjoy making many Magical Memories!
