I've made all of my dining reservations in advance, but I was wondering if they will still seat you if you are a little late. A family friend told me that the transportation is painful and slow, what if they make us late? How much earlier should we leave?

Hi Jeanette - I've been a little late and still was able to keep my reservation.  I think it varies by restaurant, however.

Disney recommends that you leave at least ninety minutes early to get to your dining reservations.  I've found that it can take a while, especially on the bus, so that's probably a good rule of thumb.  Keep in mind that if your reservation is in a theme park, you'll need to have your bags checked and enter the park which can take some time in addition to the transit time.

    Have a great vacation!
