I made a dining reservation for 8 of us at Chef Mickey's and used a credit card to hold the reservation. However, the 8 of us are comprised of 3 separate families all dining together. Will the restaurant split the checks accordingly for us?

Greetings Heather and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with an excellent question.

It makes me very happy to hear that you will soon be making memories with family and friends at the Walt Disney World Resort. I personally think that making reservations for a meal at a character dining location is the best way to meet beloved Disney friends. You do not have to wait in line and you get to meet more than one character while enjoying a delicious meal. The best part is that they come to greet you at your table!

Chef Mickey’s is definitely the place to go to meet the Fab 5 all at once: Mickey Mouse, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto and Donald Duck. The restaurant is a great place for large groups, and I believe that the buffet will appeal to the different appetites in your party. Please note that character appearances are subject to change without notice.

Guests are required to provide a valid credit card at the time of booking in order to secure a reservation, but that does not mean that the card on file will be charged at the restaurant. You are welcome to use a different payment method and request separate checks when dining with friends and family. Upon arriving at Chef Mickey’s, simply advise your server that you will be splitting the check and they will be happy to assist you.

Thank you for sending your question our way, Heather! I hope this helps you while planning and that you have a magical time at Chef Mickey’s!

    Best Disney wishes,
    Thiana
