Bonjour Alexandre!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
So wonderful that you decided to
place a deposit on a future cruise with Disney Cruise Line. It definitely lessens the sting when a sailing comes to an end to have another one on the horizon, doesn't it?
Based on your question, it sounds like your deposit was a placeholder for a future cruise on Disney Cruise Line. Placeholders are an excellent option when you know you want to sail again with Disney Cruise Line, but you aren’t yet sure the exact dates for your next adventure at sea. Plus, you get the benefits of a discounted deposit and a discounted rate on the voyage.
When you make your future cruise booking with Disney Cruise Line, they will be able to apply the credit to your booking. You must be planning to set sail on your new cruise within 24 months from the date the placeholder was booked. Pay attention to what day you booked the placeholder. That will be the date from which the 24 months will be calculated.
Contact a Disney Cruise Line specialist if you have any questions or need assistance with your reservation.
Currently, you can explore all the
Disney Cruise Line itineraries through Summer 2021 or await the announcement of new ones. One of my favorite resources to keep track of Disney announcements is the
Disney Parks Blog.
Once you get your next voyage on the calendar, please come back with all your planning questions! Have a wonderful vacation...Bonnes Vacances!
