Hello there, Kara!
Like Disney’s Lion King, I think you found your place on the path unwinding because planDisney can help give you Disney Cruise Line vacation planning tips. I hope your Disney Cruise Line planning experience improves from here on out.
Kara, I spoke with a friendly Cast Member, and they shared that the reservation would need to be transferred back to you within the first 30 days of the booking. The transfer process varies by travel agency, so you’ll want to contact your travel agent to get the details on how to make that transfer happen.
Let us know if there is anything at planDisney we can help provide guidance on in terms of planning, how to use the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app, tips for
Port Adventures, and more. One of my key tips is to make sure that you start making reservations for any activities in the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once your booking window opens. Kara, if this is your first time on a Disney Cruise, you can start making reservations 75 days prior to your sail date, whereas if you are a Silver Castaway Club Member, you can start making reservations 90 days before you set sail.
I’ve heard that some travel agencies offer perks, such as onboard credits for cruises. Ask your travel agent if they have other tips to help you make the most of your vacation.
Please circle back if you need any other advice.
May the magic be with you!Melanie
