Welcome to planDisney Jennifer!
Booking a "guaranteed stateroom" is a great way to save money on your Disney Cruise. I actually think it is kind of fun seeing what room gets assigned! Although you do not have the stateroom number, your reservation should be listed if you go to the "Already Booked" tab at
DisneyCruise.com. Scroll down to "My Reservations" and you should see your cruise listed. If you do not see your cruise listed, click on "Add a Reservation" and you may add it with your confirmation number.
To link your 2 staterooms,
follow the steps included on this FAQ. The phone number is included in that link so you may call if you need assistance. Linking your staterooms is a great idea so you can make your plans as a group and you will all be seated together for your
dining rotation.
With a guaranteed stateroom, you may get your room assignment as far out as 2-3 weeks, or you may not get your room assignment until arriving at the port. I did a guaranteed room on the Dream a few months ago, and my room assignment was given about 5 days prior to my sailing. If you do not receive your luggage tags prior to leaving for your cruise, Hakuna Matata, no worries! Simply ask a porter at the cruise terminal for luggage tags and they will be happy to assist you. Once you drop off your luggage, you will not see it until it is magically delivered to your room a few hours later. Because you will not have access to your luggage for several hours, keep a tote bag or backpack with your travel documents, passport, medication, and anything you might need for those first few hours of your cruise. Most luggage is delivered by late afternoon, so you will have your bags in time to change for dinner.
I hope you get assigned the perfect stateroom for your magical cruise! Captains Mickey and Minnie can't wait to SEA you onboard!
