Hi, James!
Thank you for stopping by planDisney. I love that you made a Captain Jack Sparrow costume for your Disney Cruise! I do not sew (much to my mom's disappointment!), and I'm always impressed with the creative costumes that some Guests wear on the
Disney Cruise Line, especially on
Halloween on the High Seas cruises.
Guests are welcome to dress up in costumes during
Pirate Night. One year, my family chose a Peter Pan theme, and one of the grandparents dressed up as Captain Hook. It was a lot of fun! I have seen Guests wear elaborate costumes during Pirate Night, and your costume is most likely a great addition to the swashbuckling evening! Disney Cruise Line asks Guests to choose family-friendly costumes and to avoid bringing any props on the ship that look like weapons. The Crew Members onboard your Disney Cruise have the final say on which costumes are appropriate, and they will let you know if your attire needs to be modified to meet costume guidelines. More information about costumes can be found on the
What to Pack page.
Have you downloaded the
Navigator app yet? If not, I recommend doing so now! Not only can you book
Port Adventures and Onboard Experiences on the app, but you can also use it throughout your voyage to view entertainment schedules, find
rotational dining information, and
communicate with other family members on the ship with you.
James, have a fantastic cruise! We hope to see you real soon!
Happy sailing!
Jen
