Hi Katy,
Welcome to planDisney!
That advanced dining reservation at
Cape May Cafe is outstanding! I recommend driving to
Disney's Beach Club Resort for the dining reservation. Then, head to the Transportation and Ticket Center to park and catch
Walt Disney World® Monorail Transportation to Magic Kingdom. Without traffic, it should take you about 10 minutes to get from Disney's Beach Club Resort to the Transportation and Ticket Center. Given that you will be headed over at a busy time of the morning, I would allot at least 30 minutes to get there and get parked. And then you will need to allot some time to catch the monorail. It could take another 15-20 minutes to get to Magic Kingdom depending on crowd levels.
I love Cape May Cafe and am so excited that you are dining there! The character interactions here are adorable! And the food was fantastic the last time I visited. Be sure to give yourself time to enjoy the dining experience. I know how it feels to rush to get to a theme park so that early reservation time is excellent. Just be prepared for crowds getting to Magic Kingdom because the
park opens at 9:00 a.m. with 8:30 a.m.
Early Theme Park Entry for Disney Resort Hotel Guests.
Katy, I know that you are staying off site, but I always have to recommend staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel. When we have done our price comparisons in the past, I started considering the value of time. So, we pay close attention to the
Special Offers with Disney and book a resort hotel that has access to multiple
Resort Transportation options. We love the convenience of Disney transportation, the
complimentary standard self-parking at Disney resort hotels, and just being in the middle of the magic!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
