Hey there Marcus and welcome to planDisney!
Advanced Dining Reservations are often some of the highlights of my visits to the Walt Disney World Resort. Full disclosure, I plan those out harder than anything else! And just like you, I will watch up until the last possible second if that's what it takes to get as close to what I want as possible.
Those of us who have traveled before know that dining reservations must be canceled at least 24 hours prior to your reservation to avoid a last-minute cancellation or no-show fee. But what people may not realize is that you can indeed modify an existing reservation within that time frame. You can make those modifications right in your
My Disney Experience app. Just open the particular reservation you want to be changed and tap the Modify button with the little blue pencil icon. From there you can Select an Available Time from the options presented to you. You'll be able to review your reservation, agree to the Guest Policies for the restaurant and hit the green Book Now button. And just like that, you're ready for a fabulous meal!
Speaking of dining reservations, I do hope you've snagged one for
brunch at
Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' in Disney Springs. It's a great weekend late morning treat after hitting the Disney Parks a little too hard during the week. The short rib hash and a blueberry mimosa will surely cure what ails you!
Marcus, I'm wishing you a safe and magic-filled vacation! If you have any other questions feel free to
come back for another chat!Happy planning!
