Made ADR for Kona Cafe! So excited! Thanx Brigatta for the suggestion! We will be at HS earlier that day. May go directly to Kona from HS. Would we take the MK bus?Or may go back to POFQ 1st if there's time. How much time to allow from either to Kona?

    Hi again Rhonda,

I am glad you liked my suggestion and I hope you enjoy this restaurant...make sure you see the Magic Kingdom fireworks and the Electrical Water Pageant from the beach at the Polynesian Resort after your dinner (or before, depending on the time you are eating!).  Just in case you are not aware of what the Electrical Water Pageant is, it is a nightly floating light show (to music) that makes it's circuit around the Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake for the Magic Kingdom area resorts.  Generally, you will be able to view this Water Pageant from the beach at the Polynesian Resort at about 9:00pm but if the fireworks at Magic Kingdom are scheduled at 9:00pm then the Water Pageant will sail by about 7-20 minutes after the fireworks display.  I would definitely suggest to take a little break mid-day if you possibly can, especially if you will be going to Disney's Hollywood Studios early in the morning.  Whether you will be leaving from your WDW Resort or HS I suggest you take the Magic Kingdom bus.  The bus from HS to Magic Kingdom will take you to the Ticket and Transportation Center (TTC) where you will get on the monorail and the first stop will be the Polynesian Resort.  You could also use the walkway from the TTC to the Polynesian, it will only take about 5 minutes on foot.  If you are leaving from POFQ, you will need to take the bus to the Magic Kingdom (it will drop you off at the bus depot there and not the TTC).  From there you need to get onto the monorail which will make a few stops before getting you to the Polynesian.  It will stop at the Contemporary Resort, the TTC, then the Polynesian Resort (this is where you will get off), next is the Grand Floridian Resort and then right back to the Magic Kingdom!  My suggestion if using the WDW transportation is to give yourselves plenty of time (approximately 1 hour or a little more) to allow for possible wait times along the way.
