Hello! I made an ADR for Blue Bayou at 6 pm for 2/6 before the Sweetheart Party was announced. I’m excited to have tickets for the party night. Since we can’t get in to DL until 6 pm we will be late for our dinner time, will the CM honor our reservation?

Hi Andrea! Welcome back to planDisney! Thanks so much for stopping by with another great question. I'm always happy to help a fellow Coloradan!

I'm so excited for you that you're going to Disneyland After Dark: Sweethearts’ Nite! I can't think of a better way to start the evening than to have an Advanced Dining Reservation at Blue Bayou Restaurant. You should be ok to arrive slightly after your reserved time. In my experience, you can be up to 10 minutes late for a dining reservation. I do have a couple of suggestions to help ensure you arrive as quickly as possible. I recommend being in line to enter Disneyland Park just before 6:00 p.m. There will likely be a slight wait as other party-goers will also enter as soon as they are allowed for this special event. Once you enter the theme park, be sure to head straight to the restaurant. As you become close to the restaurant's location, you can use the Disneyland Mobile App to check in for your reservation. You will have to be within close proximity, but this will allow you to check in sooner than with a Cast Member at the podium.

If you have more planning questions before you and your sweetheart arrive, please visit us again at planDisney. We can't wait for you to be our guest, and we would love to help!

    Happy Planning!
