Hi Tara! Welcome to planDisney. It's great to see another Marylander here. Thanks for sending your question our way, and I'd be happy to assist you today.
First of all, a very merry 21st birthday to you! I can't think of a better place to celebrate your special day than the Most Magical Place on Earth. While you can't change or add a date of birth to your
My Disney Experience account on your own, the friendly folks at Guest Services can do it for you over the phone when you call 407-939-7765.
Even once your account has been updated and you have celebrated your milestone birthday, you will still be required to show identification should you choose to imbibe during your vacation, so be sure to carry a driver's license, passport, or other valid picture ID on your adventures. Be sure to check out
a list of establishments available during your visit and plan a few places ahead of time where you can sample some tasty treats.
If you're a
Star Wars fan, stop by for a sip with other galactic explorers at
Oga's Cantina in
Disney's Hollywood Studios. For a rowdy good time, check out
Raglan Road™ Irish Pub & Restaurant in
Disney Springs, and for a more refined celebration, reserve a table at my favorite place to mark a special occasion,
California Grill at
Disney's Contemporary Resort. Experienced travelers know that World Showcase in
EPCOT is the perfect place to quench any thirst. If you're planning to enjoy several alcoholic beverages, I recommend taking your time and alternating drinks with snacks to feel your best throughout the journey.
I hope you have a fantastic vacation and a wonderful birthday, Tara! Make sure to stop by Guest Relations or the front desk of your
Resort Hotel to pick up a celebration pin so everyone knows it's your special day. If there is anything else can do to make your trip more memorable, please come see us again. We're all ears!
Happy birthday!
Betsy
