Hi Lynne!Have a question for you based on an answer of yours I saw.Friend, 3 kids (4-13) & I planning to explore resorts on a down day. Want to get a tasty snack from each as we explore. What treats would you suggest-esp. monorail hotels and Boardwalk

    Hi Jill,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you so much for asking me a question! I’m happy that one of my previous answers gave you the idea to “resort hop” around and taste all that the Walt Disney World Resort hotels have to offer.

Starting with Disney’s Polynesian Resort, I think that you absolutely have to stop in at the Pineapple Lanai for a Dole Whip. It’s one of my favourite Disney treats of all time! At Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, I’d recommend Afternoon Tea at Garden View Tea Room. It really is a wonderful experience, especially when the music begins to play in the stunning lobby at around 3 pm. While it’s a bit of an indulgence, it’s really fun, even for the little ones, who get to enjoy “Mrs. Potts Tea”, a tea service designed just for Guests under 9. Finishing out the Resort Monorail loop, I’d highly recommend one of the super creative cupcakes from Contempo Cafe. They always have new creations and they’re usually pretty huge, so don’t be afraid to share!

As for Disney’s BoardWalk, there are so many treats to choose from, it’s hard to choose! That being said, you can’t go wrong with something from Ample Hills Creamery (don't forget to ask for samples!) or BoardWalk Bakery

Have a Magical Day… and bon appétit!
