Welcome back to planDisney, Ami!
Planning a trip with a wheelchair and thinking ahead about the Skyliner already means you’re winning at the “stress-free magic” game. You’re about to glide above the resorts and waterways like a total adventurer, and a little planning now means way more time for fun later.
Here’s the scoop: The rideshare drop-off at
Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort is located at the main entrance of the resort. They won’t be allowed to take you directly to the
Skyliner station. That being said, it’s a short, fully accessible walk to the station, ramps and elevators included. And Cast Members are always ready to help with boarding, so you can just relax and enjoy the island vibes.
A little pro tip if it works with your plans: try to go during off-peak times, like morning or early afternoon, to avoid big crowds at the station. Since you’re at Port Orleans French Quarter, this method saves you from a long trek across Caribbean Beach and keeps everything easy and accessible.
Also, make sure you check out the
My Disney Experience app directions feature. It’s like having a personal Disney guide in your pocket. You can get step-by-step directions, see which entrances are accessible, and even track wait times so your family can move around from resort to park with zero stress.
While you’re at the resorts, take a little time to explore the resorts when you are visiting. In true Disney resort theming nature, they are all so beautiful! Caribbean Beach is full of colorful bridges, fountains, and hidden nooks that are super fun to wander. Port Orleans French Quarter is full of charm, too. The jazzy vibes of
Scat Cat’s Club with some mouth-watering beignets in hand will have you feeling like you’re living your own Tiana-approved tip tap and jazz it up kind of day. Those little touches make the resorts feel alive, like they’re welcoming you to your own storybook adventure.
Don’t forget, all you need is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie dust to keep your heart light, take it all in, and let the magic carry you. Wishing you a safe and magical flight! Hope to see you again real soon,
