If we take a Lyft from Pop Century to Hollywood Studios before park opening, can Lyft drop us off at the front of Hollywood Studios or will we have to wait in line with the other cars waiting to get in?

Welcome to planDisney, Micah! I'm so glad to be able to answer your question today because my friends and I have a stay at Disney's Pop Century Resort coming up just around the corner as well and we were just talking about what our strategy was going to be to get to Disney's Hollywood Studios in the morning. I think we must have a lot in common because I bet you're trying to get there early enough to get a Boarding Group for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, so let's chat about what you can expect when you arrive at the parking lot in the morning before the Theme Park opens.

There is a drop-off lane for rideshare vehicles at the toll plaza at Disney's Hollywood Studios, but it opens at the same time as the rest of the parking lot so you will have to wait a few minutes if you arrive there before it opens for the day, which is about 45 minutes before the Theme Park's official opening time right now. You might run into a bit of a line, but make sure that you tell your driver to stay to the right and follow the signs for guest drop-off so you can get in as quickly as possible. The drop-off line runs really smoothly since the cars don't need to stop to pay for parking so even if there is a line, you should have plenty of time to get dropped off at the gates, go through security, and get inside before Boarding Groups are released for the day.

    Have a magical day, Micah!
