Lve this panel! I had a question about MNSSHP. This will be our first time attending this and I had a quesiton about my son's costume. He is going as Jake from Jake and the Neverland Pirates, a play sword came with his costume, is this allowed in the park?

What a fun, spooky time awaits you at Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. All guests of all ages are encouraged to dress up in their favorite Halloween costumes and collect delicious candy as you trick-or-treat around Magic Kingdom theme park. Sounds like a great time to me! As for costumes, if the sword clearly is a child's toy meant to be an accessory it will be permitted. If you are unsure whether it fits into that category then I would likely leave it. I think you will so enjoy this wonderful holiday event. Make sure you purchase your tickets ahead of time, especially if you want the few days surrounding October 31. Dates do sell out, so if you don't want to miss the fun, plan ahead. Tickets can be purchased at www.disneyworld.com or by calling (407)W-DISNEY. You also might want to think about planning an Advance Dining Reservations so you can eat in the park. Table Service locations will be packed on the night of the event. Call (407)WDW-DINE when you hit your 90 day booking window. I hope this assists you in having a magical night.
