    Hi Paula,

I LOVE the idea of a surprise trip!  In face, some of my Moms Panel Pals and I were just discussing which among us had the "will power" to actually surprise our kids with a Disney trip.  (I've tried many times, but caved each one!)  Maybe someday I'll be able to keep my excitement to myself!

A great way to celebrate your special trip is to buy your kids personalized Mickey Ears (they come in a huge variety, and you should be able to easily find a pair to suite each one of your kids' personalities.)  You can either order the ears ahead of time, and deliver them on the morning of your departure as you break the big news, have them delivered to your Disney resort room once you arrive, or pick up a pair on your trip, and have them personalized at Le Chapeau at the Magic Kingdom.

To arrange to have personalized Mickey ears waiting for you in your room, you need to contact Walt Disney World Florist. They can be reached by phone at 407-827-3505 or at

To have Mickey ears delivered to your home before your trip, you should call the Walt Disney World Mail Order Merchandise Department. They can be called at 407-363-6200 or emailed at

Another great way to celebrate your special trip include scheduling a character meal (I love Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary and Crystal Palace at the Magic Kingdom).

    Have a wonderful trip!
