Would luv your opinion.Have free dining pin offer thru 8/13.Considering trip 8/6-13.How bad are crowds?Would dealing w/crowds be worth free dining? Want to go 8/27- 9/3 but no free dining offered for that time. Book now or gamble for din offered later?THX

    Hello Kelianne,

That's a tough one! You're a chosen one: You are a lucky Princess to have received a PIN code mailed to you. I know a few people who would have loved to have gotten one of these special promotions. But sometimes, like in your case, the discount doesn't work with your schedule.

You need to ask yourself if you have the flexibility of switching up your travel dates. And you need to know if free dining is important to you. My family loves the Disney Dining Plan (DDP). So we almost always jump at being on the DDP.

But that being said, we have traveled to Disney in early August. It's hot. And as the summer winds down, there are more people at Disney trying to squeeze in their last few days of fun. There would undoubtedly be less people in the Parks in early September as school would be back in session.  There's just no guarantee you would be sent another PIN code.

My personal opinion is to go in September as your originally planned.

    Hope this helps! Good luck!

My family loves our Main Street in Ohio. But there's simply no comparison to Main Street U.S.A.! We don't get to Disney quite as often as I'd like, but that just means finding new ways to sprinkle Pixie Dust on our adventures! Learn More About Monina
