LUV LUV LUV this panel. We are planning a trip for end of Jan.What is the weather like this time of year, and what should we pack. We usually come in the summer time when it is HOT!!! Thanx for all your great advice!! Also is this considered value season??

Hi Michele!  You will most likely find this time of year just a tad different in the weather department from the summer season.  I love the fall and winter months at Disney since the humidity is much lower and my energy level stays higher!

The average temperatures for this month range from the highs of 72 degrees to the lows around 50 degrees.  There is generally not a lot of rain during this time unlike the normal afternoon showers and storms you find in the summer months.  My best hint for what to wear and pack is to think layers.  The early mornings and evenings will be much cooler when the sun is not out so you will want a nice jacket or sweatshirt or sweater.  I would stick with capris or jeans and bring your suit as all Disney pools are heated to 82 degrees and you just might want to try a dip during the mid day when the sun is at its warmest!

Most of January is indeed value season for most of the resorts.  Things can and do change though according to occupancy so be sure and check several resorts when booking a room for the latest prices!
