Luv the DMP! DH and I will be in Magic Kingdom for the 24 Hour Coolest Summer Ever and have an ADR for lunch at BOG at 2:05 (so excited!). Will we be out on time to see the Festival of Fantasy Parade? Where is a good viewing place to watch the parade? Tks

    Hi Margaret!

The 24-hour Summer Kick-Off Celebration at Magic Kingdom park is going to be awesome!   If all goes as planned, I'll get to join in the fun this time along with fellow Moms Panelist, Sarah B.   We are so excited and counting down!  Be sure to be on the look-out for the latest updates on this great celebration on the Disney Parks Blog.

Although your plan is a little tight, it’s completely doable.  Here are a few of my tips to make it a little easier:

Be sure to arrive at Be Our Guest Restaurant a few minutes before your scheduled reservation time in case there is a line for check-in.

I would highly recommend that you pre-order your lunch online.   You may order online up to 30 days in advance.

Once you have enjoyed your delicious lunch, you should briskly walk over to find a spot for Disney’s Festival of Fantasy Parade.  If you are done before 2:45 p.m., I would head over to Frontierland.  My favorite spot is by the Country Bear Jamboree.  If it’s a little closer to 3:00 p.m., I would head over to Main Street, U.S.A.  Disney’s Festival of Fantasy Parade starts in Frontierland, so it usually takes a few minutes to make its way there.

Keep in mind, in past 24-hour events, a second parade has been added.   If it happens again this year, watching the parade at a different time may work best for you so you don’t feel so rushed.

Margaret, I hope this information helps!  If you have any other questions, please let me know.

    Happy planning!
