Hi! We have a lunch reservation for Be our Guest and we wanted to know if Beast will appear at lunch as well. We have a first time Disney traveler coming with us and she loves Beast. I'm hoping I can get her a chance to meet him. Thank you!

    Hi Nancy,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  Visiting Walt Disney World Resort with a guest who has never been is magical.  I love watching their reactions to the experience, the excitement is contagious!

Currently, the Beast is greeting guests at Be Our Guest Restaurant during dinner hours.  During the day he is busy tending to Belle and the enchanted objects throughout the castle.  Although the Beast isn’t available during lunch hours, be sure to visit the West Wing, it is sure to impress any fan of the Beast.  The Beast makes an appearance in Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade in Magic Kingdom Park.  Be sure to check your times guide for the schedule.

I know nothing can replace the Beast, but Gaston is available to meet his adoring fans outside of Gaston’s Tavern in New Fantasyland.  He is hilarious, and if you ask him, he is a much better catch than the Beast. Also, Enchanted Tales with Belle takes guests back in time to the day Belle and Beast fell in love.  This attraction is not to be missed for any Beauty and the Beast fan.

I am sorry I didn’t have better news, Nancy.  Please let us know if you have any other questions, we are always happy to help.
